Served on draft. Certainly has an appropriate raspberry hue to it, not much head to it. Aroma isn't cloying or artifical, just some pale malt notes with a nice backbone of fresh berry. Taste still carries that fresh berry note but it isn't as present as it is on the nose. Beyond that it is just a basic if inoffensive summer ale

Had on-tap at the brewery in State College. Served in a tulip with an orange wedge.
L: Pours a hazy medium golden color with a purple hue. Modest off-white head.
S: Raspberries and summer fruits... yeasts and a bit spicy.
T/F: Sweet and tart, with definite fruit presence... mostly raspberry but also a bit of citrus. The yeasts from the underlying wit add some spiciness and cloves. Effervescent and almost fizzy in mouthfeel.
O: Average to slightly below for a fruity witbier. Kind of fizzy... ok for a summer drink but not one I'd re-visit. Not one of Happy Valley's stronger efforts.
