Really solid IPA from a small town gastropub. Presentation is inviting, aroma is tropical, very galaxy / citra forward, taste is balanced, not overly bitter, nice expression of fruity hop flavors (mango, orange) with simple but supportive crystal malt backbone. Doesn't push the envelope but very well done

Had on-tap at the brewpub. Poured into a pub-club mug.
L: Copper golden pour.. semi-opaque with 2 fingers of foamy white head. Solid lacing.
S: Citrus and mango hops. Tropical fruits.
T/F: Bread/grain malt character. The hop profile had moderate bitterness... definite mango and pepper mixed with citrus. Fairly well balanced. Medium body and carbonation as expected for the style. The wheat gives it a little more body than anticipated. More tropical fruits at the finish.
O: A solid if unspectacular mango wheat IPA. Enjoyable... not one I'd specifically seek out but would definitely have again. Still probably prefer the straight barnstormer.

Very good beer. Clear orange/ brown with a nice white lacy head. Tropical fruit nose with a hint of pepper. The taste is a great balance of malt/wheat sweetness and fruitiness, just a hint of piney bitter. It finishes dry which is great for the sweetness upfront
