Had on-tap at HVBC, poured into a snifter.
L: Pours a deep copper color, semi translucent with 2 fingers of creamy white head that falls quickly. Nice lacing.
S: Malts and hops, floral and evergreen.
T/F: Strong malt backbone as expected with an Imperial Red. Nice hop balance gives it a nice kick at the end. Well carbonated and delicious. Very good representation of the style.
O: A very solid Imperial Red and a lovely beer. Dangerous ABV that you barely notice as you drink it. Strong work from HVBC.
