Had on-draft at the brewery... poured into a goblet.
L: Cloudy brownish pour. 2 fingers of foamy white head.. falls fast with minimal lacing.
S: Muted funk... barnyard... light cherry, and tart lemon.
T/F: Follows the nose. Not a lot of flavor... tart without being overly sour. Hay, barnyard, and brett. Lacking in complexity. As it warmed I picked up more of the tart cherry notes. Some lemon character. Medium to light in body... a bit of cherry in the finish.
O: A below average sour... and the only thing that saves it a bit is the cherry character that comes through as it warms. Not offensive... but not worth seeking out either. For a 1st sour effort.. I guess it's a start, but not one worth revisiting.
