Some variation in some similar cans from Faction, but this was a good one.
Pours a light amber color, darker than your average pale ale in this day and age. Not hazy, but not clear either. 1/4" off white head. I'd say the appearance is the weakest part of this beer's game. But its not problematic. The aroma wasn't a large volume of Mosaic, but enough to smell some mild guava and dispensary tones. There was also pear, pineapple going on in lesser amounts.
The taste has a nice pinch of Simcoe cold pine bitterness to bouy the beer. Was lightly undercarbonated mouth feel wise. The pear note was a nice evolution out of guava territory. Mosaic and Columbus giving off some weed still. I can get down with this pale ale. Seems pretty solid. Not sure what the hue is all about though, it didn't give off any malty flavors or retain the heft of such in the mouth feel. Dang this is the first review of this beer in almost 3 years.

Straw filtered, no carbonation and 7 fingers of off white head.
Smells of light fruits, pear, ripe peach and a hint of wheatgrass.
Tastes of ripe peach, soursop, and a hint of jackfruit.
Light body with little carbonation and a tannic finish.
I got this in Sacramento today, and am drinking it in Redding, Dec 31st, 2019.

Herbal, earthy hops. Cat pee and onion. Lemon rind. Light caramel malt. A finely constructed seasonable ale.

Can from Winooski Beverage.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking bronzed copper golden color with a modest transparency. A small white foamy head slid off fairly quick. Just some wispy concave lace.
The aroma had a fairly strong grassy hop feature rolling into some danky character, slightly like onion, then light pine and an even lighter note of citrus rind.
The flavor leaned into a fine blend of sweet danky onion, pine and citrus. Really meshing finely into each other quite nice. Quick yet smooth aftertaste of wet onion, pine resin and sticky citrus rind.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Sturdy carbonation leads into a brisk sharpness and then finishes crisp with a bright citrus rind.
Overall, nicely done West coast styled APA with an appropriate ABV assigned to it. Would come back to and definitely pair well with a fair amount of seafood.

A: Biscuit like malt, coupled with moderate hop notes of citrus, light pine and grass.
A: Deep gold color, clear, with a moderate, uniform, white head that has adequate retention in the glass.
T: Crisp, caramel-like malt, slightly sweet, well balanced with hop notes of pine, citrus, and light grass, with a moderate hop bitterness and dry finish.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
O: Solid; the beer is clean and crisp. It also is well balanced between the caramel malts and the citrusy, piney hops.

Very balanced with a restrained fruity hop profile and a sweet bready malt profile. Excellent mouthfeel and carbonation. Was expectuing a bit more aromatics and sweetness from the hops but this delivers like a well crafted okd school west-coast style pale ale with a fresh character.
