16oz can. Poured out a crystal clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of orange peel, grapefruit and pineapple. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a sharp, piney bitterness.

A- iiipa. Good flavor profile, good balance of IBU vs. ANV. Very drinkable and decent viscosity for a III ipa
Solid effort. Recommended. On tap at Harry's Hofbrau San Jose. Props

A decent IIIPA. Aroma of pine and orange. Taste pine, orange, grapefruit and some caramel. Expected sweetness up front followed by good bitterness. But the caramel conflicts with the bitterness, throwing the aftertaste off

Faction makes some of the most underrated hoppy beers our there, in my opinion. And this is no exception.
Pours crystal clear with a bright orange color, no haze whatsoever. Smell is of sweet, sticky, pine and oranges.
The taste follows exactly, with a big pop of bitterness, but without being overfly sweet or too hot from the 10.5% abv.
Not quite Younger or Notorious, but very close in flavor profile and body.

Poured out at the brewery as a nice orange color with a white head on top. The smell of the beer had a very nice hop aroma to it, some subtle sweetness on the nose from the malt. The taste is well balanced with the malt bill and the hop bitterness. The feel of the beer was medium bodied. Overall I really enjoyed this one. It was the favorite that I've had from them during my trip to Oakland.
