Who can drink an imperial stout on a sunny, warm day while overlooking the bay? Thumbs point to … this guy!
Thing is, for such a strong beer this drinks pretty easily. Not that sunny weather is stout weather either, but I didn’t get the knockout punch from this one.
Pours a dark coffee black with a thin layer of foam. The aroma is pleasingly roasty, with some dark chocolate notes and a touch of coffee. The flavor has dark chocolate, coffee, and a touch of stone fruit sweetness to balance things out.
