Bottle of unknown age into a tulip glass.
L: Pours bronze amber with 3 fingers of variable density pillowy head with great retention and left moderate mixed lacing. Definitely one of the darker pales I can recall having previously.
S: Nose is quite nice, very floral with some subtle earthy/dank undertones that gain prominence as the beer warms.
T: Follows the nose but with much greater prominence of the the earthy/dank attributes. Finishes somewhat crisp with moderate bitterness, lingers slightly on the palate.
F: Lighter bodied with moderate-high carbonation, carbonation leads to it being lively on the tongue.
O: As someone that typically likes Faction's APA offerings, I find this one quite nice for my palate and preferences. It's definitely a dank pale ale, which I enjoyed and would happily grab again.
