Clear gold body, thin and tight white bubbly head. Smells of dark pine, grapefruit, lemon, and a dark hoppy muskiness. Taste follows nose with a dark pine resin and a dry cheesy character. Medium bitterness and really nice lasting mouthfeel. Not a clearly define flavor profile but a nice unique combination of classic dbl ipa flavors with that cheesy hop note.

Wasn't planning on reviewing anything today but seeing the low rating on this before me made me want to clear things up...
L: pretty light orange, minor cotton white head with little retention or lacing
S: piney hops, some sweetness and malt but huge hoppiness that reminds me of the piney alpine beers
T: even more hops and pine than the smell but somehow still very smooth. lovely.
M: perfect, sits slightly sticky on the tongue but just enough to make the taste linger in a good way
O: awesome. Faction rarely disappoints with hoppy beers and this and born day are probably two of the best DIPAs I have had in the last year

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
