Served on tap at the microbrewery.
A: Black as midnight. A tan one finger head that dissipates quickly. Curtainy lacing.
S: Chocolate, malts, leather.
T: Comes on sweet and smokey with anise and chocolate. Smooth, robust. Makes you sit up and pay attention.
M: Medium to heavy with medium, chewy carbonation.
O: Sip and enjoy. The 7.2% catches up and mellows you out. A truly fine oatmeal stout.
