A better choice of style than on UnTappd who calls it an APA (but Plateau clearly lacks the aromatic hops.)
I also drank my copy from the cask at London's Beer Merchants Tap and its softness also is not an APA.
Plateau Looks like it needs more foam, even if pulled from a cask. Smells also are slightly above average as I detect only malts. Tastes are well-balanced and only in the end do I get hops that linger, and they do so nicely. Not medium-mouthed, but I rate it that way for its softness.
This is my 4th from Burning Sky and they have over 250 brews, which is a lot of experimenting. But they seem to have repeat drinkers with almost four times as many Check-ins as Uniques on UnTappd. Nonetheless, it is time for me to give Burning Sky a rest.
