notes from journal (2015-2016): foamy thick, brown head that bubbles away fast, thick and aromatic, very burnt flavor with coffee aftertaste

Dark brown to mild coffee color when held to the light. The head is 2 fingers and frothy, leaving delicate lace as it recedes to a sliver.
Aromas of chocolate and coffee, some roast malts and toffee.
Flavor is of day old coffee grounds, some green pepper, light cocoa, and earthy malts. It's overall very much like coffee and dirt with some cocoa mix thrown in.
Feel is well carbonated, medium bodied, and pretty creamy considering the coffee dryness.
Overall, a very average coffee ale - I wouldn't even call it a porter per se, just more of a coffee dark ale. That being said, it's okay.

Pour brown with a thin lasting head. Trailing lace sticks.
The smell is of roasted coffee beans, light milk, chocolate and a dark earthy note.
The taste is of roasted coffee, touch of milk, chocolate.
It has a smooth medium body.
A very nice coffee-infused porter. Coffee enhances the porter without overwhelming it.

Jet-black color with a small, light brown head. Chocolate, caramel, toffee notes. Strong roasted malt flavor with dark chocolate, sweet caramel and a touch of coffee.

nice dark color with a garnet hue smallest handheld that settles up pretty quickly. Coffee in both the aroma and the taste. In the aroma tends to be stronger than the most characteristics, but they come over here in the later. But at then but it is a lighter ABV beer. Nice drinking ale. Thanks Linda.
