8/5...pours bright gold with white ring of foam. Very light malty nose. Light peppery pine taste. Spicy. Dry hoppy flavor. Smooth with a sharp bitter. Ok.

From a mixed 12 pack that I picked up at Costco Madison, WI. I was not familiar with this brewery, so what better way to sample a bunch of their beers.
12 oz brown long neck poured into a paint glass, the beer is a copper with a bit of a chill haze. The beer has a sticky off-white head and lacing.
The beer has an aroma of pine and caramel malts.
The taste tracks the smell. There is a dash of pine, some citrus, caramel malts and a dash of whole grain crackers.
The mouth is slightly thick and oily.
It’s a decent old school American IPA, nothing more nothing less. I would have this one again.
