32 oz crowler, opened 48 hrs after purchase.
This beer is a collaboration with Sunken Silo Brew Works. I love the smell of lavender, so when I saw these two local breweries made a saison with peppercorns and conditioned on lavender, I had to give it a try.
Deep gold color and hazy with a large, creamy white head. Spicy and floral aroma with a touch of stone fruit at the end. I don't know that I would have picked out lavender but, knowing it's in there, I definitely get it. Spice is prominent in the flavor as well, but it's balanced nicely by rich malts. Medium-full bodied. This one is a winner!
