Dark and clear with a sparse white head this Black IPA is a bit under hopped but very drinkable with a soft, medium mouth feel and solid dark grain flavors. Bitterness is moderate in the mouth and firmier on the finish. I'd like some more mid boil hops to compliment the chewy center of this beer but as a first offering of a new and much needed Brew Pub in Poughkeepsie, its a fine start.
