Not too much chocolate flavor, just right amount. Same goes for the hops very good beer. Not a heavy beer, very drinkable, but would be better in winter. 23 IBUs Rated 8-12-2018

A solid, full flavored stout with great chocolate and roasted balance. Silky feel with a dry finish. Easy drinking paired with a dark and menacing appearance.
Cheers.

Pint at Venti,s in downtown Salem OR, $5 Dark dark mahogany, almost black body. Small yet thick and creamy tan head. Nice semi-dark chocolate aromas. Touch of creamy coffee aroma also. Taste is similar to the aroma. Some sweet dried figs in the end., Good. Very luxuriant mouth feel, yet easily drinkable. Very good beer from a new brewery. Look forward to more of their stuff

On tap at the waterfront brewpub. Very dark and opaque brown body with an excellent head.
This is a full bodied and full flavored stout. Drinks rather like a robust porter. In any case, or certainly is robust. Excellent balance of bitter and sweet, at least until the finish where some hoppy bitterness comes to the fore.
