Perky's Last Dance pours a deep dark brown. A bubbly but thin khaki head rests on top, and leaves a beautiful creamy ring around the glass.
Very boozy, but mentions of oak, toasted nuts, and charred bread come through the depths.
The flavors follow, but are complimented by a nice tart cherry like presence.
A little on the thin side, and a soda like carbonation give this a slightly thinner feel than expected. Plenty of boozey warmth make this great along the cold riverfront.
A solid bourbon barrel aged porter, but slightly lacking in body and depth. I wouldn't say no to another glass though! Cheers.
