Brewed for the slopes of Mt. Hood Meadows, Vertical Limit Amber puts a bold twist on the classic amber style. With rich malt flavors of caramel, toffee, toasted bread, and a hint of dark fruit, it's rounded out by subtle chocolate and light roasted notes - perfect for après-ski or fireside relaxation.

This beer pours a dark brown with a slight amber color. It doesn't look like a standard Red/Amber beer. I tried 3 different dark beers, and they all looked and smelled alike, the only difference was the taste and that was not too much, I love a really good Red/Amber Ale, and this one is nowhere near a good for the style in my opinion. It's not a bad beer, but not sure what style it should be.
