Nice and light, has some hop back bone to it but nothing much else. Light, crisp and refreshing are just where it should be at. A welcome change from the lake, pun intended, of over the top craft beer flavors for once. Sometimes you just want an under-toned lager.

16 ounce can into lager glass; no can dating, but was recently released. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light corn/pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with pale malt/corn, and mild earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light corn/pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Mild herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light corn/pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness of pale malt/corn, and mild earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with no yeast note presence. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium-plus carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected pf 4.7%. Overall this is a delicious American pale lager. All around nice robustness of pale malt/corn, and mild earthy hop flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp/clean to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Very clean and nicely rich pils malt/grains, with mild earthy hop balance. Very mild on the adjuncts. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive style example.
