Sampling a lightly chilled 16 oz can poured into my .5L dimple mug. Beer is brewed with tangerine, interesting.
the beer pours a bright gold color with a fizzy bleached white head of about 1 cm. This foam fades pretty rapidly to a thin edging that sticks around during my sampling. Only spotty lattice when I swirl or take a sip of the beer. Looks the part of a light lager.
Aroma is definitely some light fruity sweet citrus, pulpy, not rindy and some light cereal graininess. there is a bit of spicy hop balance on the nose too. Pretty mild nose overall, but hits all the spots.
Flavor is grainy malt and some spicy hops, but the sweet citrus tangerine kicks in on the finish. It almost tastes like fruity hard candy, but MUCH less sweet. Definitely getting the tangerine on the finish and swallow. There is a good drying out on the finish too.
This is a pretty tasty and very easy drinking beer. The tangerine is a nice surprise that works with the beer.
