Perfect shade of red singed with brown; poured with no head; no lacing... bubble gum, light caramel on the nose; fairly standard... cherry, bubble gum, lightly syrupy malt, Bamberg-y BBQ-y smoke firmly in the base background... requisite bouncy body with mild-moderate smoke/booze warmth, tempered slightly... bold but boringly textbook, Belhaven-esque wee heavy... the inauthentic smoke matched with the brawny booze and bulbous underlying malt all seem to work well enough together, though the phenols are a lil too bold and 'American' to pass this off as truly true to form... I could give in to having another though...
