Batch 4: Moteuka Dry-Hopped
Appearance: Pours slightly hazy and golden colored with a two finger head; good retention and some sticky lacing
Smell: The Brett is prominent in the aroma when the beer is first poured but settles down a bit after a few minutes, letting the grain and hops emerge; some sulfur and white wine grape in the aromatics, too
Taste: Herbal and grainy, up front, with with some sulfur and grassy tones developing along with some white wine grape; as in the aroma, the Brett brings a lot of barnyard funk, to the middle, with all the flavors merging to the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate to high carbonation
Overall: One of the Brett-ier farmhouse beers I have encountered, I liked it though the sulfur was a bit strong (I cellared my second bottle for a couple of years and found this much more enjoyable as the sulfur had dissipated

Pours a somewhat hazet & effervescent amber with a thumb of ivory colored head. Decent head retention & lacing
S: Farmhouse, a little peach & orange peel
T: Brett, grassyness, dryness, a little pear, white grape & woody hops& a little grapefruit up front. Dryness, woody bitterness & grapefruit pith as this warms, a little barnyard as well. Finishes with brett, a little dryness & lemongrass
MF: Medium body, restrained carbonation
Drinks easy, a respectable take on the style

Batch 2: Pours a hazy straw color with a large white 3 finger head. smells of brett, mild funk, and some overripe apricot coming though. taste is mainly of hallertau, earthy herbalness with a slight hint of lemon. no real funk coming through and this was 10 months out since bottling. the body was very thin and due to its high carbonation made it feel even thinner. mash could have really benefited from some oats or rye. overall i thought this was a poor representation of the style.

Citrusy Farmhouse, floral. Overcarbonated though.
