The liquid is hazy and has a dark gold/light amber color. The head is extraordinarily brief. It doesn't even leave rim bubbles to provide for any lace.
Fresh pine cone aroma. Some freshly ground black pepper bitterness.
The thinner body is enhanced by the increased level of carbonation. The malt is weak but I get some ground pale malt. The pepper comes through in the finish and leaves a long aftertaste. Overall, this reminds me of my home-brew IPAs; there's a sizeable yeast contribution to the flavor. Light and refreshing, this is not too bitter.
