A truly great beer from an up and coming small town brewery. Keeps up with the big brewery's and then some. Would compare to Dragon's Milk. Make sure to get the barrel aged version. A bit pricy, but nothing too extreme. Worth it.

beautiful beer from a newer brewery and a very young brewer. huge pumpkin profile in this without too much spice. cinnamon is the only one i really get much of, and being that its all in the finish, the squash can be central throughout, an all too uncommon phenomenon. pale orangey color with maybe just a half inch of almost pure white head. it smells intensely like fall, flipping my calendar back a few pages. some vanilla sweetness in the taste which really brings out the earthy vegetal aspect of the pumpkins themselves. cool and sturdy malt profile too. like fresh baked pumpkin bread with barely burnt edges. really awesome and different. soft spice and booze warm up the finish, but just enough. drinks light for what it is and considering the strength here, only medium bodied and very well carbonated. this is an extremely impressive introduction to this brewery for me, which is apparently located in the old crabtree place. i now expect big things from them moving forward. this is awesome beer.
