this is one of the better takes on the style i have had in colorado, and deserves some serious recognition. these guys are rocking right now, and this is one of their best beers, id love to see it get put in a sixpack! beautiful hazy pale color, looks like wheat and yeast, just like it should. thick looking too, definitely a creamy feeling beer, and the style needs that sometimes. i would describe this as heavy on the salt, and moderate on the coriander. its about as salty as any i have had, and it does amazing things with the lacto sourness of this. its very sour too, way past tart to downright acidic, and the salt makes that somehow more refreshing. seems odd, but its true. i get preserved lemons and a touch of spice, maybe a dash or rye in here? either way, its just delicious. not much hops going on, but still some cool herbal character from the coriander, all in the back. nicely carbonated and quite full bodied for this style. i could drink 20 of these, and might go up to the brewery here soon and endeavor to do just that. top notch beer here, needs attention from the beer geeks!
edit: there is a blood orange version of this now, and its real good. not as blood orange forward as i would have expected, but i suppose i pick it up there on the back end, the sweet before the sour. its fuller bodied with the fruit, still really sour, still very drinkable. nicely done with this new version!

Different from other Goses that I've tried in both the sour character and the lack of any discernible graininess. The sourness here doesn't offer much in the way of complexity but it is clean as they come on the finish. The nose is reminiscent of pineapple and sour green apples. Couldn't really pick out the salt, but I guess that's a good thing.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
