This beer is a whiskey barrel aged Old Ale, and it's apparent from the start. Nice sweet, caramel nose. A bit of heat on it, though. The whiskey plays more of a role than I would have liked. It overtakes the barrel and the beer. Still, it's a good beer. Although the waxed top took a chainsaw to remove it
