if you like key limes, rather love them, this will be the best eight dollar bottle of beer you ever buy. i prefer this many times more than the blood orange version, which is also excellent. it helps that they start the process with an outstanding base gose, light and wheaty, fresh and tangy but not too sour, super clean on the bacterial side of things, no residual weirdness or funk, and just enough salt to really accentuate the fruit. i think its the perfect platform, and i hope they keep going with fruit like pineapple and kiwi, but i digress. the lime in the aroma here is so intense, so natural, more limey than a lime, and its key lime specific, they must have used a ton of fruit. if this is flavored with an extract or concentrate, i need to know what it is, because its far higher quality and truer flavor than we usually see from that method, no clue how they actually do it, but it has my mouth watering like crazy. the flavor is almost just as good, a little tamed by the wheat which i appreciate for the sake of this still being beer, and also for drinkability, but my gosh that lime flavor is intense all the way through. i really love the carbonation, the low alcohol, the dry finish, and the lime burps. so many fruited goses and berliners out there, almost none of them as impressive or intense as this one. a must try from one of the up and comers here in colorado!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
