the imperial version of the county fair one they did, and i have to say, i liked this a lot, better than the original, and honestly, i dont think i wanted to like it, the description of the beer reads like a compilation of every annoying new school beer trend, yet the beer in the can is dynamite. at first i didnt want it to be sour, but i like the very mild acidity in here, it works to unite and mellow the beer, and also i think highlight the hops, which are there if you look for them, maybe not keeping this in any kind of ipa realm, but definitely keeping it beery. it literally smells and tastes like melted peach ice cream, like with the little orange chunks in it, the vanilla and the lactose are used beautifully here, and the subtle cinnamon takes it to pie land, just insane how much this actually smells and tastes like the dessert. the peach part is first, which is crazy with all that is going on in it, and it seems oddly natural for a dessert beer. the alcohol is invisible, so this is dangerous, and as much as it sounds like a gimmick, its not sweet or fakey enough to really turn me off at all, i like it, there, i said it, i thought this was awesome. only wiley roots could execute like this, its amazing really. i actually taste graham cracker in it too, and for how often i see that in beer now, it really does make an impact here, giving the crust to the cobbler. pretty epic beer here, if you are open minded enough to let it happen to you. shockingly enjoyable, i expected to hate it...
