16oz can from Tavour. Pours out a ruddy violet, cloudy, spotty head. Nose is all about the blueberries, sweet, fruity, tart. Taste features a very subtle sourness, with more of the wheat ale characteristics showing through. Blueberry flavor is also kind of subdued, and ends up tasting like jam on bread.

We have had a lot of blueberry beers lately and this one is kind of... eh... We ordered this from Tavour. Chilled it and poured it into an imperial pint glass.
Look: berry colored, light ruby red, light purple. Small finger sized pink head that dissipates quickly. Small residual lacing that dies quickly.
Smell: intense blueberry, a bit wheaty
Taste: blueberry up front, wheat in the middle then flat blueberry trailing. Interesting notes on the end, blueberry that sticks around but not sweet or sour. No bittering (which makes sense because it is classified as a berliner weiss).
Feel: thin with pretty good tickle of carbonation.
Interesting beer because it is is berliner weisse which classifies as a bit sour, fruity and a bit thin. This one has a ton of blueberry which brings it closer to the smoothy movement, but it is too thin for that. As a Berliner it doesn’t really stick with you like most do. You get intense blueberry up front, that fades, then you get wheat, the it just dies quickly, then you get some trailing blueberry in the nose that lingers. The lack of any berry sour is what makes this weird. Cheers, I guess?
