Ordered from Tavour, chilled and poured into an imperial pint glass.
Look: light raspberry color, cloudy and pleasant wheat hue, small finger sized head that dissipated quickly leaving no foam or lacing at all.
Smell: raspberry on the front nose with hidden wheat maltiness that smells light and refreshing
Taste: berry on the front end, replaced by raspberry, a light sour in the middle, followed by wheat maltiness that is light and subtle. No booze and no hop at all.
Feel: sour, light, refreshing body with hardly any carbonated tickle to speak of, there is a little on the tongue but never makes it to the palate
It is exactly as described. Berliner weisse with raspberry. Bren loves raspberries but is not a huge fan of wheat beers. With raspberry purée I suppose one could want more mouthfeel, but this is a beverage I could see drinking on a warm summer day and come away from the can refreshed and wanting another.
Cheers everyone!
