This was the first of many brews that I ordered on Tavour back in the fall as it's description sounded quite amazing. Indeed, this was just as lovely as I figured it would be as it turned out to the be perfect beer for fall that wasn't typical by any means. If you're tired of all the Pumpkin Ales and Marzens that flood the shelves in the weeks leading up to Halloween, then this would be what you're seeking!
Nice, golden hue to this with plenty of shine and an appropriate head that wasn't tall or thick, as it quietly and quickly settled down. Only a thin ring of roam remained around the liquid as I sipped this with the lacing being sparse as well. Loads of lactose, vanilla, pie crust, and graham cracker in the nose as the soft cinnamon, allspice, deep berry, and yeast. Such a smooth mouthfeel as this perfectly straddled the line between sweet, sour, spicy, and filling - as if this was liquid pie.
Whipped cream and marshmallow entered in the back as it was nearly impossible to detect any alcohol in this. My only beef with this is that the label said to "Drink Fresh" but of course, no date of any kind was to be found on here. This was a blue-ribbon beer that I'd order again, should I ever see it come up on there!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
