Poured from 16oz can into my BeerAdvocate teku. No date on the can that I could see; this is a "double hazy IPA brewed with strata and motueka".
Appearance: nice light-orange hue with plenty of thick haze and a head of frothy eggshell foam that leaves a bit of nice lace on the glass.
Smell: aroma is somewhat light, but there's a sweetness here and a nice tropical/citrusy aroma. It's promising!
Taste: wow, there's a lot more dankness here than I would have suspected from the aroma. A bit tropical, rather dank, and some juicy citrusy quality here. I'm totally into it.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I'm digging this beer. It's definitely a New England style, but there's just enough bitterness to offset some of the sweetness, which just adds to the juicy character. Good stuff!
