its insane that this is so strong. i thought that about the last one of these i had too, but man, this doesnt drink anything like its listed abv, and shocking as that is, its not the most shocking thing about this beer, which is brewed as a sour with cinnamon and cayenne pepper. sounds weird because it is. not sure there are flavors i would put together in something like this, and it sounds more food than drink on paper, but i think they probably did about as nice a job as can be done with such a thing, its just not really for me. the cinnamon and the pepper are both intense and hot, they dont balance each other but seem to amplify the intensity respectively, cinnamon more up front, cayenne more in the back and on the swallow, it tastes like some candy we used to dare each other to eat as kids because nobody really liked it and it really burned. i admire it more than i like it, the sourness is kind of cool with the spiciness, but this seems almost shocking for the sake of it, not sure i could drink more than maybe a shot glass full of it, but everyone else in our group seems to really like it, so maybe just me. i appreciate it for being unique, i think its crazy its so strong for one, and the flavors really are curious, the pepper and the cinnamon there really from start through the finish. i am interesting to drink more beers from this series...

Really really different and unusual...

Slightly tart... lots of apple cinnamon presence... then comes the heat... and quite a bit of it...lingers on the palate throughout and creates a warming sensation long after the sip...

The aromas are heavenly.... sweet cinnamon apple... the merest hint of tartness....

The 14% is virtually non existent... this has a lot of cider qualities to it... lots of apple going on... I'm shocked at how well the booze is hidden... the lingering heat though... crazy...

Quite an experience! Tastes like spiked, spiced cinnamon apple cider with a lingering, peppery aftertaste. Not very carbonated - definitely more cider than ale. Mind-bogglingly tasty for a 14%-er. Would get again... and again.

A mad concoction that shouldn't work, but does.

Bit a formal review, so I'm keeping it short

This is extremely spicy with a ton of cinnamon.

Brewed to replicate a shot of Fireball, the nose smells like a mix fireball and cider, and the flavor is spot on, just a bit too heavy on the cayenne for me
