Appearance is a cloudy / hazy deep raspberry red-violet color, with a ¼” of pink foam, very active microbubbles, quick fade, no retention or lacing. Aromas of floral lavender, lush mixed berries, sweet Açaí berry, and a mild lacto funk. Taste is the same; tart and sour Açaí berries, hint of raspberry, lemon acid, and a touch of lime juice. The mouthfeel is slick, thin body, with a huge puckering of the lips, with prickly medium carbonation and a dry finish. Lingering on the palette is more lemon flesh and Açaí. The overall flavor is bold and rather tart and a 3.9/5 on the sour scale. The floral lavender notes are only apparent on the nose not the tongue; the taste is super fruity, well balanced with a medium dryness and very refreshing finish. This is a delicious beer to drink on a hot summer day!
