It is very difficult to read, but there is a date printed on the bottom of the silver can which appears to be written in a light yellow color: "1035 BEST BY 12/27/19"
Appearance: The beer is a hazy bronze color with a hint of golden brown. The head is medium sized and slightly off-white. It has moderate retention.
Aroma: There is a fruity aroma of what smells like raspberries and mulberries.
Taste: The beer has a light taste of crepe and fruit. The fruit is a bit like watermellon, kiwi, with some watered down raspberry. It is a pleasant and fruity beer.
Mouthfeel: The beer is light bodied and smooth. Easy to drink.
Overall: The can calls this beer "GLAZED DOUGHNUT" and it has a picture of two giant glazed doughnuts, but the flavor and aroma are fruity. As a fruit beer this is good and I would recommend it, but the brewer seemed to really miss the mark on the whole "glazed doughnut" bit. It tastes a bit more like fruit loops, so you'll get your breakfast but it won't be the one you were expecting. I'm wondering if my can was mislabeled. Still, the beer is good and it's worth drinking if you like a fruity beer...just don't buy it expecting it to taste doughnuts.
