On a bit of a sour kick recently and got daring with my pick a 6. Drank this straight from the bottle. On opening, strong peanut aroma. First impression is very tart due to the wild yeast and bacteria. After the initial sour shock, you get the peanuts and on aftertaste, the berries. Too offbeat to pair with foods, but I'd reach for a second bottle for casual drinking. I was expecting to drink some and trash it if I didn't like it, but I was surprised to find that these flavors actually work and I really enjoyed it.

Well, this is a combination that I never would have thought of. But the folks at D9 made it, so I'm giving it a whirl. The aroma is tasted peanuts with strong acidity and some berries. The taste is similar, and behind the strong acidity are peanut butter and (to a lesser degree) raspberries. Not the greatest beer in the world, but they actually pulled this off - impressive!
