White IPA
Made to be a refreshing, easy drinking beer, Undulation is a hybrid wheat and a west coast IPA. Dry hopped with Citra hops, it is light and crisp with bursts of lime, grapefruit, and pineapple in the aroma and flavor.

August 12th, 2015 - White IPAs are trendy (as of this sampling of this beer) and Groundswell's is a pretty decent representation of what this style offers. A somewhat clear brew, and a darker gold in color, it features a bright hoppy scent, with a rich weed and pine flavor, and a touch of lime for olfactory acidity. A semi-sweet flavor with lemon and lime bubbles and shifts in its velvety softness, gracefully layering the hop taste onto the tongue. It's lighter than an IPA, more flavorful than a pale ale, but good drinking.

This is a decent IPA, but I have to give it lower ratings, because for something billed as a WHITE IPA, it was simply an IPA, not a WHITE one. White IPAs are such an underappreciated niche that it is exciting to find them, but my hopes were dashed to discover this one does not live up to half of its name.

Best well rounded, crisp, drinkable and refreshing single IPA I've had all year. Nothing "white" or Belgian about it... Or at least that I could pick out. Nice west coast influence with some pleasant tangerine-apricot citrus. The other scores on here don't do this beer justice.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
