August 12th, 2015 - The mysteriously named IPA #005 sounds like something I'd be experimenting on at White Labs, but this, I think, is an iterative IPA like Hess's Solis. A deeper auburn in color, it smells like a jumbled collection of blood orange and grapefruit, with some passion fruit and Starburst candies on the finish. The flavor has a more metallic and rusty character with some cherry sweetness. Both the body and palate are on the lighter side, with a light carbonation and, somewhere under the bubbles, lychee, I like this, though it seems like the palate is a little mismatched with the flavor.

All the locals flock to this one. A great one to latch onto.
