Moderately spritzy but not much head. Color is a dark orange amber in the Bacchus tumbler. A little sweet and quite fruity with squash. Pleasant grainy aroma.
This really tastes like pumpkin. I was curious to see if the rye edgy flavor would sharpen up the pumpkin flab. It's certainly sharp and tangy with a bitter taste halfway through. Moderate pie spice flavors combine with the spicy, grainy rye. An interesting idea that could use a little work, but it's well worth a try.
