Light ginger ale color with small white cap and some lacing.
Minimalist aroma that's clean and almost lightly lemony with a hint of floral hops.
Flavor on entry matches the scent perfectly. Light, simple, clean without the rough edges of some other AAL style beers. To their credit ingredients are listed on the can along with sliding scales showing color, malt and hop levels. Simple flavors well executed and it doesn't get harsh notes when warmed to room temperature. Just a bit of hop assertiveness (20 IBU) in the aftertaste.
Good gulping beer that's right at home in a 16 oz can. It's a lot like Hamm's with more hops which is an observation, not a criticism, though Hamm's beats it on price. Still, glad I got a chance to try it.
