A prime example of what a lawnmower beer should be. This is a very easy drinking, very lightly hopped lager. A friend brought this back from a Virginia Beach vacation for our BOTM.

I tried this off the tapper at Grain in downtown Norfolk, VA. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had faint grain and grass hop. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with grain flare. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

Poured from a brown bottle into a pint glass; no apparent date. Beer was slightly golden yellow with a modest white head that leaves essentially no lacing. Nose is weak, though a balanced mix of lager malts and mild hops. Taste is clean, straightforward, but essentially unrevealing. Nothing unusual going on here, just decent but modest beer flavor. Mouthfeel a little slick but rather weak as well. A drinkable, fairly well-balanced lager, but ho-hum. 6/6/2016.
Aside from the beer itself, I'm bothered that the label text uses "it's" incorrectly rather than "its" twice in two sentences. I'd proofread their label copy in exchange for a few beers.

12 oz bottle poured into an American pint glass. Light golden color and fresh white head on the beer. I enjoy Helles Lagers, and this is another good one! Crisp, smooth, and refreshing!

I couldn't ask for anything more in a pils/helles. Very solid bitter, delicate but present pils malt. Grassy, herbal spicy hops. One of the joys of this brewery is the freshness that the beer can be had, and this fresh is amazing to me. It has definitely improved since may.
