I don't see a date listed on the can.
Appearance: The body is a very pale straw gold color. It is very hazy and a bit murky, although it is very light in color. Fuzzy shadows are barely visible through it. The head is medium-short in stature with a pure white lace color that also resembles the wide-dispersed lacing on the glass. It is a nice looking beer but very murky.
Aroma: There isn't much aroma to speak of. With the nose nearly buried under the surface of the beer it comes across as a very, very faint aroma of cereal grain and nondescript citrus.
Taste: Up front there is a touch of garlic and cracker. Towards the middle of the mouth there is this old emulsified chocolate flavor mixed with a touch of lemon. The back of the palate is mellow with a touch of lemongrass and green onion. Aftertaste is light with a bit of arugula flavor.
Mouthfeel: It feels light bodied with a wet finish. Moderate to low bitterness.
Overall: The label can states that this is "757 AMERICAN LAGER." The beer is drinkable but it misses the mark for an American Lager. It is kind-of all over the place when it comes to its murky appearance, its wet finish, and its hop-forward flavors. Although the beer is drinkable and it has some nice lemony flavors, it isn't something I would pick up if I was looking for an American Lager, and it's not one I would recommend.
