An industrial yet inviting space that has that nicely modern but also comfortable brewery feel. Tons of great beer to either take home or drink there with the occasional food truck. Lots of older arcade games, as well. Another must-visit in RI!

I was killing time for a couple of hours early on a Saturday afternoon before a wedding. OK, so not the easiest place to find when using Maps on your iPhone - we got sent to an overgrown fence down a dead end street. Fine, not Proclamation’s fault. So, it’s a Saturday afternoon, three staff on duty and maybe five customers in the building, they still managed to ignore me standing at the bar for maybe five minutes. Beyond that, the decor and vibe is brewery cliche - industrial garage, picnic tables, arcade games, amazingly loud-and shitty hip hop music, the whole nine yards. I don’t know, maybe they’re the innovators and everybody else copied them, maybe there are only so many ways to trick out a brewery in an industrial space, maybe I’m just a curmudgeonly old fuck. Whatever. Had a couple pours (eventually) and bought seven different cans to take home. For all my bitching about the venue, the beer’s pretty damn fine.

I adore this place; the beers are very tasty, and they consistently have a good variety of hoppy, stouts and offerings from 'oakville'. there is always a fun vibe here, and they support the local/statewide community in many different ways which is wonderful. Anniversary week events are always extra fun -- just get here already . you won't be disappointed.

Great place, clean and well organized. The beer was great (Tendril IPA) and the service was fast and knowledgeable. They only had one beer available in cans this past Saturday, I was told they usually have three-five.
I will return.

Large relatively new space for this brewery. Vibe was good and would be better later in the day. Well designed serving area and a lot of space for hanging around. Service was friendly and 5 beers-to-go were available. We bought 4.

Really nice new tap room put in a while ago, but few seating opportunities and can seem crowded in the small space. beer is very good, but the service is by far the worst i have ever encountered at a brewery. yes the guys(or more often guy) behind the bar is exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate about the beer, but to put it simply...shut the fuck up and pour beer for the other customers waiting. it takes so long, even when not busy, to get a beer or a growler fill i simply started going elsewhere...besides, when grey sail and captains daughter are only a few minutes more of a drive, and service is great there, it is a no brainer.
update...this is a review for their kingston location. much better in warwick, but service is still way better elsewhere

7/9/16 Crowded space, standing only, except for a couch that looks like it came out of a basement frat house. Unfriendly servers. Overrun by a Beer Tour group who had a driver who had had to many. (Hope we don't meet him on the road)

Whats the matter with it? Its alright. I've seen the place. The lord wont mind. They had a game. Its alright. Drink from the bottom to the top. Turn like a wheel. Its alright. See for yourself. The lord wont mind. I hope they move. Right now. Its just a box inside a box.

This is a smallish tap room that was crowded yet still reasonably comfortable. Real mix of patrons in terms of age that was interesting. Nice not being the oldest person in the room for a change. Definite buzz, but not obnoxiously loud although the potential for being super noisy exists. Single bar, gorgeous slab of wood. Four tasters, that I think were four or five ounces, for five bucks...hard to beat and the pours were to the top. Very knowledgeable servers who were pleasant even though they were quite busy. Probably twenty five customers either tasting and talking or getting their goods and leaving. Minimal waiting. Real potential for being overcrowded, but seems the regulars know the drill. The beers today were Derivative Citra, Derivative Galaxy, Tendril, and Rype (IPA with apricot collaboration with Tilted Barn). All of the beers were very good, interesting to taste two single hopped variants side by side. Worthy of a stop, not a touristy destination type bierhall. The beers are definitely worth seeking out.

Nice new tasting room is a step up from the original bar and very comfortable. Service is always great and I have a chance to try a few of their beers all of which I have liked. Not a ton of options, but enough of a spectrum to get a good idea of their style. I like the Derivative series and their sours.

Relatively small place with a single L- shaped bar in the taproom. Due to a recent beer fest the day before, the selection was trimmed down a bit. They did have the Galaxy-hopped Derivative Pale and their peach version of Plattelander, Peachlander. Very excellent saison. Bought a couple of bottles of Love Monkey and a snifter. Pretty good start of a taproom for an up-and-coming brewery.

Very friendly and knowledgeable servers. Pricing on point, tremendous value. Interesting, unique and always tasty selection for growler fills. I only wish for more bottled sours, as usual.

Dave is making some really nice beers here in Rhode Island. Tried the Stalk recently, their DIPA and was really impressed.

I'd expect to see some really great things coming out of this place.

I think the location is interesting. You walk past RI Mushroom Company to get into the brewery- rack of mushrooms growing covered in plastic. Worth the trip right there. Proclamation is the best beer coming out of RI by most accounts. Loved the Anniversary One. The set up is like a science lab. Total professionals.
I have been to Rogue Island looking for Tendril 3 times, no luck.

Small taproom tucked away in the back of a warehouse. 3 or 4 stainless tanks in the taproom. They do their brewing and their tastings in the same area. 3 beers on tap which included their Tendril, IPA, Derivative, Pale Ale, and Trickster, Milk Stout. They also offered gave me a pour of their Trickster from a mason jar that had a bunch of coffee beans.

There are about 15-20 barrels in which beer have been aging in. Very small operation, but they're already talking about expansion. The 3 guys working were cool, and conversed with everyone who stopped in.

Only negative was that Rhode Island only allows each person to take home 72 oz of beer and no more. Good thing I brought my fiancee with me.

In my opinion, this guy is doing the best beer in Rhode Island. Personal favorite is the Tendril IPA, but Zzlumber Imperial Stout is also very good. Tap room is a fun trip for a Saturday. Always some interesting brewery only selections. Now if we could only buy more than 72 ounces at a time....
