Standard red/amber color with a frothy white head that stuck around. Rich, nutty, mahogany, caramel, sweet malt, raisins, toast with a bit of dark fruit jelly. Medium carbonation and dry with the typical aftertaste of an amber. Nicely done for the style.

@ Ridgewood
Hazy russet color under a compact, soft head of white creaminess. Fruity hop, green pine, citrus rind, and scallion-like aromas...mild at first, but becoming bolder as it warms. Hoppy flavor, nearly no malt at all, really. Pine resin, apricot, grapefruit zest, spicy earth, and just a hint of caramel. Medium-light body, bitter, and crisp with a dry finish. Very drinkable. A good, hoppy, resinous ale. I think I need to get over to Lynnwood soon.
