The beer has a nice aroma. Hazy in the glass with a nice head. Advertised with a citrus flavor - that's true. A grapefruity taste rather than orange, which I wasn't expecting. A little bitter after taste. Overall its a decent brew. Would recommend.

16 FL OZ. can
Served in a tulip glass

This beer pours a hazy amber color with burnt orange highlights. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves decent lacing.

The aroma is earthy and dank with plenty of citrus and even some tropical notes.

It has a nice citrus flavor as well as some dank flavor. The finish is earthy with a mild bitterness.

Light bodied

It is a good beer. It drinks more like a session IPA with a somewhat watered down flavor that I associate with that style.

Pours - Clear deep orange color with nice fluffy white head

Aroma - Hints of citrus, floral, nice sweet smell, orange or tangerine

Taste - Pineapple, peach, biscuit, hint of orange peel, great flavor

Feel - light body very clean and crisp well carbonated

Overall - I really like this beer, for a pale ale it has great citrus flavors and is very balanced.

Can > Tulip Glass

A - Hazy orange gold with a big two finger dense foamy off-white head, medium lacing, not the best looking beer I've seen.
S - Aroma fortunately turns things around, huge floral notes kick it off with some light citrus zest in the back, then some apricot, white grape, tangerine, pear, grapefruit, light grassiness, some pale malt. Smells awesome!
T - Flavor delivers for sure, the hops come out beautifully in this one, very bright and vibrant citrus tones with some juicy grape and tangerine being the big fruit flavor, very floral and clean, light caramel malt adds just a hint of sweetness, just enough to be balanced.
M - Clean, crisp, refreshing, smooth, mild bitterness.
O - Excellent APA, one of the better things on my recent beer trip to NC, cant wait to get more!

Pours a darker translucent gold. Smells of tropical fruits. Taste is much the same with a heavy dose of mosaic hops on the end. Pineapple, citrus, peach. Medium body with a coating mouthfeel. A solid beer!

A deep orange colored beer with a white head that leaves ribbons of lacing. The aroma is a sweet citrus that is mainly tangerine. There is a bit of pith or pine present as well. The taste is mainly citrus with bready malts and a caramel like sweetness. There is a nice pithy bitter finish. This is a really tasty beer that is a great example of brewing with just Mosaic hops.

Can poured into a Euro .25 liter stange

Clear amber, very good carbonation, dense, frothy two finger off white foam cap, good , sticky lacings

Aroma jumps from the glass, tropical fruits, tangerine

Bitter hop notes on the taste, not biting, citrus , some bready malts

Smooth , light hop lingers on the back of the tongue

Good beer

Canned 4/5/16 drank 4/13/16 out of a glass. 5.25 abv on can not 6.25 listed here. Better than I remember on tap at the bar a year ago. Very fruity for a pale. Helps to have it this fresh but I'll be buying more this summer either way.

This single-hopped pale ale pours to a brief-lived, fluffy thin white head on a clear, effervescent pale-amber body; lacing is fair, consisting of rafts and caverns. The aroma is moderate in intensity: juicy pineapple and red grapefruit over a more subtle blend of bubblegum-like spiciness and dark floral hints. The palate leads with bitter pineapple and citrus, which are joined mid-palate by celery and grassy hop notes and hints of the spice from the nose; bitterness builds to a moderate level for the style, offset somewhat by a modest bready malt presence. The finish is a bit hoppy and dryish, and is followed by the onset of a style-moderate, vaguely grassy bitterness that lingers for a good while. The mouthfeel is commensurate with the light-medium body, and the texture is moderately creamy and has a nice, style-appropriate prickliness from the fizzy carbonation. This pale ale is a good showcase for the Mosaic hop varietal. (growler)

@ Lynnwood

Clear amber color under a slab of tight, frothy foam. Aroma has that fresh hop pellet quality…dank and resinous with big pineapple, mango, and blueberry notes. Stinky, oily hop flavors featuring pink grapefruit fruitiness, an earthy, resinous edge, and a bit of grain. Slightly watery in the finish, but otherwise medium-light bodied and dry. Good stuff…easy to put down a few.
