Appearance: pours with a golden orange color. Slightest layer of head on the pour. Little active carbonation while drinking.
Smell: amber malts hit first. Sweet sour dough bread and caramel open up on the body. A touch of piney hops shows up but they are very subtle.
Taste: amber and caramel malt sweetness open up on the front. Lingering candied sweetness runs throughout this brew. Some oak and dried fruits mix themselves in on the back end.
Mouthfeel: a bright sugar sweetness runs throughout. Very drinkable.
Overall: I always enjoy these one offs at the brewery. This is well done in a cask and highly enjoyable.
