On tap at Publican restaurant in Chicago (was a colab. beer with the restaurant).
Labelled as an English brown on the menu, no mention of sour, but completely full of Lacto. Really disappointing, pretty infected from the barrel aging process - I don't think you could even call this a deliberate barrel sour - just tasted like a mistake.
Good head, was appealing visually, but very dark - more like a porter
Sour on the nose with minimal roast malts
No pecans at all - and the only barrel characteristics were sour infection
Skip this if you come across it - there are way better sours to be had than this accident
