Also had this at the 2007 Michigan Brewers Guild Summer Festival. It was one of the highlight, and people were lining-up for glasses. Mad Hatter itself is a wonderful beer, and dry hopping it (cascade?) at the tap was a delight. Hatter is still one of my favorite Michigan IPA's.

Sampled at the Michigan Brewers Guild Summer Festival.
It was served through a Randal (forced through fresh hops!). I had it early in the first evening, so there was plenty of fresh (green) hop flavour!
A: Orange, off-white head, plenty of lace, good retention.
S: Floral, citrus & a little caramel.
T: Citrus, pine, floral & grass. Plenty of hops flavour, balanced with a malty breadyness.
M: Moderate body is creamy. Light to moderate carbonation.
D: Good.
