Recommended by the biermeister at Oak and Stone, who said he always starts with strong and dark beers. The name nails it. Strong cherry and plum. My Austrian friends would call it cough syrup, but I think it's a nice change of pace.

Had on tap. Very appropriately named, for the cherry burst out of the waves of barleywine richness. Sticky and bright in the body, this barleywine takes wonderfully to the cherry, perfectly complimenting flavors. Smell was cherry and molasses. Oh and the wife loved it
