Look: Deep golden brown color, with some powdery looking ginger (probably) floating around. There were a lot of bubbles on initial pour, but within a minute there's not even lacing remaining (which is fine for a sour, just the carbonation, no proteins for a head).
Smell: Kind of like one of those honey cough drops... sweet like honey, gingery and citrusy nose. Not overly strong, but you can still smell it.
Taste: Excellent, ginger tartness and slow burn on the way down, lemony and lactic acid. Sweetness brings some balance back to the taste.
Feel: Medium-Heavy body and mouthfeel, still carbonated even if there are no bubbles on the surface, mild pucker factor.
Overall: Excellent beer for the price. I'm impressed. This is a beer I would get again if I was looking for a spring/summer sour. Refreshing even.
Bottled 5/8/18, poured 12/21/18 into tulip glass.

Great sour ale very tasty with lemongrass wheat and a good honey ginger flavor. I liked it more than the Cherry version the price is a bit High I think I paid $3 a bottle but it was worth the purchase

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 5/8/2018. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of tart/sour lemon, lime, ginger, orange, peach, pear, red/green apple, melon, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, honey, wheat, cracker, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast, ginger, honey, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of tart/sour lemon, lime, ginger, orange, peach, pear, red/green apple, melon, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, honey, wheat, cracker, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate lactic tartness and light yeast/ginger spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/sour lemon, lime, ginger, orange, peach, pear, red/green apple, melon, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, honey, wheat, cracker, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finifh for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, ginger, honey, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tartness balance; and zero puckering flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from tartness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately grainy/acidic, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is an outstanding spiced sour ale! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, ginger, honey, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink; with the mellowly acidic/drying finish, never overly lactic. Great fruity lacto complexity, moderate ginger/honey flavors, and solid pale/wheat malts against acidity. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. Very impressive for a kettle sour.
